A led matrix of interactive pixels

A led matrix and an accelerometer in a wooden case: pixels act as single balls in a box, a realistic and interactive device.

Gennaio 11, 2025

This is a wooden box that contains a matrix of leds. Thanks to an accelerometer, with some math and physics it’s possible to move the pixels on the matrix as real balls in a box that interact physically while you move the container.

The whole system is controlled with a Wemos board that allows also internet connection, used to change parameters and perform additional tasks (like displaying words).
